Exterior Inspiration

I have been working on refining the look of the outside of the house. I’ve decided I want to go for a farmhouse look- white paint, metal roof, board and batten siding. I love blue front doors, and I want our door to pop (but in a subtle way… wait, I think that might be an oxymoron). Here are the two inspiration pictures I am using for the exterior of the house:
